Today is 'pakjesavond' (the evening of gifts). Children in Holland get a burlap sack brimming full of gifts left at their door tonight by SinterKlaas. This old Dutch traditional holiday is full of many good treats like chocolate letters, speculaas (spice cookies), marzipan figures, taai-taai (anise cookies).....
