My autumn sphere in house

Last year, I used an idea from a Lynette Jensen book called "Autumn Accents" to create an autumn tree. Those who read my needlework blog may remember it as my first post when I started blogging. This is fun to make. I have a 3~foot Christmas tree and you simply add all kinds of flowers, berries, nuts, fruits and anything that says fall. I placed some fall leaves at the base along with a few of the apples.

I am sorry the photos don't do the tree justice. With the flash, it makes the trees look odd and I did take one without the flash which hopefully is not too dark. This gives a nice impression of the warm glow it gives in our living room.

Hi:
NOOOOOOOOOO, I am not bringing you another tree in a suitcase forget it. This looks professional, you
are quite creative, but I have known that forever.
Love you, Mom

Such a cute idea and I think it looks wonderful. I was lucky enough a couple of times to tour Lynette's house. I've gone to the Retreat that Main Street Cotton shop puts on and you could pay "extra" of course to tour Lynette's house and see her fall decorating. The retreat is always in September. Her house is beautiful and her ideas are endless on using things you have on hand for decorating and the fun and different ways you can use them. Every year she would have new things to see and her gardens where amazing, plus she is just a kind and sweet lady.

I love this quilt! The tree is beautiful as well. Creating floral arrangements is so much fun! I never thought to get a tree.
