"A sister is a little bit of childhood that can never be lost."
~ Marion C. Garretty ~
Today is my sister's birthday. She would have been 48 years old but passed away almost 12 years ago. She is forever in my heart and I honor her memory today!

I'm sorry for your loss Heidi. Tell me about your sister...what did she do? What was she like? Was she married or single? If it's not too painful, I would really like to hear about her.
Love,
Terri
What a lovely tribute, Heidi. I, too, would like to hear more about your sister.
This is a lovely way of remembering your sister, Heidi. Those we love most will never be lost to us as we carry them in our hearts forever. ♥
Oh, Heidi, what a terrible, terrible thing that she died so very young. And how awful for your mom. I wish I were closer; I'd come over and spend some time.
Well "miss Heidi" We all miss her terribly! All day that day she was on my mind. I think of her often and I see little bits of her in my actions daily. Things I'll say, and I say to myself "WOW...I sound like mom!" She was always doing fun goofy things & she was one of those people who could find something in a junk store for $.05 and turn it into something beautiful and useful! There are so many times when I will be doing something and a song will come on that she liked and she fills my thoughts. I've become much more emotional about the whole thing since becoming a mother myself. Thank you for posting these blogs about her so others can share in her memories as well. Love you Aunt Heidi!
