When I came home from the hospital, the first of these miniature daffodils was starting to peek its pretty yellow bonnet out to say hello. Since then, they are starting to flower well. The air has really taken on a change here in the last few days. Spring seems to have sprung!

Like the Spirit of Love felt everywhere;
And each flower and herb on Earth's dark breast
rose from the dreams of its wintry rest."
~ Percy Bysshe Shelley

Heidi,
It is great that you are up and about again and do not seem to have suffered too much from the treatment.
Have a great time at the art show in Groningen tomorrow, I went there a week or so ago, it is really marvelous. Make sure you get the magazine as well, it is only 1 euro and is has the most wonderful information and pictures.
Heidi thank you so much for sharing some of your Spring! Your flowers are beautiful and I think your "new project" will be pretty once done also. It is still winter's end here in PA....
although I was excited to see a tiny little bit of the Columbine and Snowdrops making an appearance in my garden.
Have a wonderful day out with your friend while visiting the museum.
Hugs
Ohhhhh Heidi, don't overdo it your first day out. Be careful. I hope you have a fun day.
Love you, Mom
Your flowers are really pretty.
So pleased to 'see' you are back, but do take it slowly for a while.
Your Spring plants are a joy!
What pretty pictures! Daffodils are my favorite flower! I am so glad that you can leave your home tomorrow and you already have a nice trip planned! How wonderful!! I am excited for you!
Blij te horen dat het toch goed met je gaat. Geniet van de tentoonstelling, we krijgen wel een kort verslag hoop ik?
Groetjes,
Annelies
Heidi,
Thank you for sharing spring. Our Daffys are just about to open. I can feel spring in the air.
I'm so glad you weathered your confinement and are hope safe and sound. I can't begin to imagine how being isolate must be. You showed that handled it with charm grace and good humor. Lessons I know that I will most assuredly benefit from. Thank you for sharing your world, and showing us yet another side to your good nature.
Has Dagi recovered yet?
What a lovely gift. And how wonderful your flowers look. I can hardly imagine it, yet. Since there is still snow, here and there.
Soooooo happy you get out tomorrow! And to see paintings by Waterhouse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my, how lucky you are!!! Please gaze extra lovingly at them, for me. :-)
Have never seen the 'Larkrise' series, but it sounds so delicious. Thank you for the suggestion. I'll have to look into renting, earlier seasons.

What a lovely surprise and such sweet flowers. Glad you are almost out of isolation - enjoy those paintings!
Such lovely flowers! We have snowdrops in bloom, and the tulips, hyacinths, and crocuses are pushing their heads up through the warming soil. I need to think about pruning the Rose of Sharon, too.
Enjoy your outing! It'll feel good to get out after being in confinement.
Deliciously beautiful post, Heidi...all these signs of spring make my heart sing! Such treats you came home to--splendid! Enjoy your outing...Happy Day ((HUGS))
Helo Heidi,
Such a pretty gift...hope you're feeling much better. Your flowers are looking gorgeous!

I love all your spring decor and flowers. It is making me ACHE for spring flowers here (northern Illinois/US)! All we have are some green shoots (lilies) coming out of the ground and just today I saw some green buds on a neighbor's tree, but that's it. Still way too cold to plant any flowers; even pansies.
