In the pink...

This time of year as things start to blossom, I like to add a few pink accents to the house.

Jos came home from buying some groceries for me on Saturday morning with a bouquet of pink tulips. Aren't they pretty?

I also like using some of my vintage books that pertain to the season along with nests for decorating.

Two pink quilts I made that work together on my couch for some spring color.

Pink renoncules in my urns on the sidetable.

And this little man is in the pink soaking up the last rays of sunshine during a very busy time here. Our kitchen is just about done with Jos needing to rehang some shelves he painted. We also found a temporary solution to having no oven or hob until the order comes in. I hope that I can share some photos of it with you in the next day or so once our shelves are back in. We are both thrilled with how it has turned out. Dagi found it all to be a bit tiresome and even came downstairs to have a discussion with our handyman about all the 'goings on'. Perhaps all that meowing is what wore him out. *grins*

Well, as usual, Dagi is beautiful. Your pink tulips from Jos are very pretty. That looks nice to see the sun coming in on Dagi. We are having rain, and I do mean RAIN. Your touch of pink looks great.
Love you, Mom

How lovely to be bought flowers, they look really pretty, as do your quilts. Isn't it just like cats to find the sun to lie in, he looks very contented.
Hope you are feeling better now?

Can see Dagi is exhausted from all the hard work......which you and Jos did!!

Pink tulips, my favorite of course - I so would love to be in Holland at tulip time.

Yes, lots of things planned while home, just hope being with a large group of friends - and their friends (who are strangers to us) - in that big house will work out OK. Bob and I are not used to traveling with a group - another couple sometimes but usually alone. It's so hard to please everyone when there are several, if you know what I mean!

Hope all is well there - save some of that lovely weather and blow it over to Devon please Heidi.
Warm hugs - Mary.

Your quilt looks perfect on your couch! And Dagi looks perfect on the bed, but what else can we expect from this lion in cat-size.
I am looking forward to our date tomorrow. Wonder what you'll say when you see the Singer..

What pretty pink tulips and they look so nice in the vignette you created. Also, I love the quilts and am always in awe of your talents.

The picture of Dagi makes me want to curl up in the sun and take a nap.

Have a wonderful week.

Hi Heidi! I've missed you so. This working thing is really messing with my life.
The pink is precious! Tulips are my all time favorite.

I've got to ask, what breed of cat is Dagi. He is simply the most amazing cat I have ever seen.
