It is fun to slowly watch this garden transform over the last three summers. Each year, we find new things we want to do. Our next project is a very major one as we will take out a row of conifers between our garden and the next cottages driveway and put in a fencing. These conifers have been planted so far in from the border of our garden that we have well over a meter of space behind them with nothing being done to it. We will be able to create a very wide flower border there and I am going to have great fun in planning what I want to use for it.

This is beautiful! I have a white one that I am hoping to get in our yard next year and I envision clematis on ours too. I am not certain what color, but I have time to think about it. What colors are you choosing? I love hearing about and seeing your garden.
Oh it's so pretty!! I love wisteria and hope to plant one soon myself. I can just imagine how wonderful it is going to look climbing all over your arbor! Thank you for sharing your lovely projects!
Really pretty Heidi! I like the birdhouse in the background too. How exciting to see your garden grow.

How wonderful to find space to have a lovely wide flower bed!!! Wisteria and clematis over an arbour sounds idyllic. You really seem to enjoy your garden. Thanks for your lovely comments.

Your new arbour is lovely, Heidi! I can't wait to see it covered in wisteria and clematis ... maybe a year or so away but it's going to be gorgeous! You've got your work cut out for you removing those conifers. Gardens are constantly changing and evolving! ♥
This is one gardening lesson I'm learning, that they take time to develope and really look good...it's not going to happen in an instant is it? :(
I've always loved arbors and just know yours will look great!
:)
Love the arbor and I want one in our yard, too. We have high winds sometimes, so must anchor it. Your garden is going to be such a vision once everything roots and blooms!
