A fun project for this Christmas

I wanted to share a fun project that is very affordable for anyone to do. You can even play around with the details each year to change it a little.

You will need a charger or any large plate, some fine tinsel or angel hair, two large candles of varying heights, various ornaments (I used 6 small plain balls, two opalesque balls and two pinecone ornaments).

Lay the tinsel or angelhair on the plate and place the candles in the middle.

Now arrange half the ornaments on each side of the candles. It is as simple as that! You could even use ornaments you already have on your tree.

In the evenings, this arrangement gives such a beautiful glow. I hope you will try this fun project and be sure to use things that will give it your own personal touch.

This is last year arrangement which had the candles in an off white.

What a simple but beautiful idea! I may have to do this in replacement of the river rocks and large pillar that are now on my coffee table! Love you!!!

I love this! HMMMM, I don't know about burning the candles though. :) It is so simple and yet very elegant looking as well!

Ok Heidi, for you that is very nice, but for me it would have to be cutsie snowmen. HaHaha.
Love you, Mom

Very pretty! I love how the candlelight makes the tinsel sparkle, and I LOVE your pine cone ornaments.

Heidi my mom will love this idea. I think I will make one for her and take it next weekend. Hers will have to be off white, those are her favorite colors along with the gold. I can have fun with the ornaments too. The candles look so pretty lit. Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful! But I think I would use 3 candles. I like things in odd numbers. But I'm extremely weird like that.

Love,
